Ascension and Talent Grid Empty Ascension and Talent Grid

Leveling and Ascending:
The number of Stars your hero has indicate the number of times that hero can Ascend.  At each level of Ascension, it requires more and more leveling to reach the next Ascension tier.  And each Ascension tier requires more resources, and rarer items collected.  Ascension to Level 5 can require collecting several of the rarest items.  You can check what is necessary to progress at the next Ascension level by clicking on the Ascend button on the Hero's stat card.

Leveling up for Ascending requires Training your hero, which you do by consuming masses of other heroes you have collected.  Each training session may consume up to 10 other heroes to train your "keeper" hero.  Each training episode has a chance to raise your hero's skill level.

Maximizing Skill Leveling Chances:
- always use 10 heroes of the same color of the hero being leveled
- use the top 10 of that color in your inventory

As you assign lower level heroes to level up, pay attention to the stats window.  You can MAX out your character for that Ascension level but the app will let you keep adding training assets that do no more good.  Stop at the max, finish the training, and then do an Ascend action on the hero to enable leveling up at the next tier.

Emblems and Talent Grid:
When you have finally max'ed out your hero's leveling, that will enable the Talent Grid.  Here you may apply the Emblems that you have been collecting to add up to 20 buffs to this hero.  These buffs can be for attack or defense rating, and increased chances of casting special skills when attacking or being attacked.  Emblems are awarded for some Quests and treasure chests, and can occasionally be purchased with gems as Featured items in the Shop.

Each hero belongs to only one of the 10 battle Families - Barbarian, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Ranger, Rouge, Paladin, Sorcerer, and Wizard.  Emblems are generally available for only one or two types of Family on any given day of game play.

Heroes with 5* ratings require far more emblems to advance at each stage of the Talent Grid, than for 3* and 4*.  Emblems can be removed from one hero so you can use them on another, but if you do not use a Reset Token to do this, you will pay a 5% penalty in the number of tokens recovered.  It can take a lot of game play to collect all the Emblems you want for your characters - take advantage of every opportunity to earn them and use them wisely.  Start collecting them as early as possible and store them up for the day when you will need them.  Better to already have 200 Druid tokens already on hand when that Zimkitha hero finally reaches 5* Level 80, than to start collecting those tokens only afterwards and it takes months and month to get enough to advance her Talent Grid even just a couple steps.
